I am a licensed private therapist and a School Counselor at an area high school. As a therapist,
counselor, and educator, I have experience working with children and adolescents as they
navigate life transitions and progress through the stages of development. I have clinical
experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and
peer/family relationships.

My goal as a therapist is to help clients work through the challenges life can bring. I seek to
empower clients in developing successful coping strategies and building resilience. My practice
is Trauma-Informed and founded on building a strong therapeutic rapport with the individuals
with whom I work. Therapeutic change can only occur when trust is built between client and
therapist, and the two are working collaboratively towards specific and measurable treatment
goals. My practice integrates principles and interventions from Humainstic, Cognitive
Behavioral, and Solution-Focused therapies to help clients achieve their desired aims.

I grew up in Bethesda, Md. and obtained my undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College. I
received my master’s degree in Counseling from The George Washington University. Prior to
becoming a therapist and counselor, I was a teacher at the middle school and high school level. I
am a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors and a
member of Chi Sigma Iota. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor through the state of
Maryland. It takes great courage to seek therapy, and I appreciate the trust my clients place in me
as we navigate through their mental health journey together.
